Subject: Derek!
Sound is a bit sketchy but not at all enough to overshadow the brillance of all the musicians here.
Definitely worth listening to any show where Derek sits in with PL&F!!!
(oh and Footprints is a Wayne Shorter track)

Subject: Derek for the First time
I attended this show because I wanted to see Steve Kimok. He left the tour shortly before this show and was replaced by Derek Trucks whom I had never heard of. Derek's performance pleasantly surprised me. He played well with this group though they had little time together. They played seamlessly for 70 minutes or so. I'm a Derek fan now.
I'll need to edit my download to remove the space added between songs. The non-stop nature of this performance is one of the strong points along with the vocals of Warren Haynes and Derek's playing.
This audience recording has too much audience for my taste. Sure would like a sound board of this one.
